[Cin] Prepping HW upgrade options for AV1 de-/encoding

I tried to create an encoding profile for av1_vaapi. I attach the preset.
It does not work and I get the following error:

[av1_vaapi @ 0x7f8c94163500] A hardware frames reference is required
to associate the encoding device.
FFMPEG::open_encoder  err: Invalid argument
int FFMPEG::open_encoder(const char*, const char*):
open failed av1_vaapi:/home/paz/test_av1_vaapi.webm

Any idea what it might be?
