I noticed a bit earlier there had been various problems with mplex

But let me ask another way:
When I test simply and load a DV file in CinGG, then File > DVD Render,
and check the defaults there and next Batch Render: <Start>

Now the DVD video and audio render simultaneous in one step.
Inspecting the DVD structure's dvd.mpg it transcoded with AC3 audio.
Why is transcoding to AC3 audio possible and not the "DV input's LPCM"?

Additional:
Is Raw PCM the same as FFmpeg's dvd_pcm and is the latter available from
the FFmpeg on CinGG's Create DVD?
(as known FFmpeg can encode and mux DVD with PCM to mpeg, while i.e
DeVeDe additional can generate the iso)
