Playback Slows Down Immensly Durring Transitions

Effects like BlueBanana are fine, but even simple transitions like dissolve cause the framerate to go anywhere from 35-60 all the way down to a slideshow. Not sure why this is, but I'm using the latest build (as of Feb 27th on Arch). My media is mostly h264 FLVs (with one MP4, though this does not seem to make a difference) and I am using the x11 video output. Oddly I have noticed that for single video tracks towards the top of the composting stack x11-OpenGL is the fastest, but for anything else x11 with the direct x11 render option is fastest for normal playback. Neither of these are enough to stand against transitioning however. Funnily enough, everything I've tried from h264 inside an FLV, MP4, and MOV to a ProRes MOV file seem to play back all the same, but when transitioning they all seem to slow down horribly. I'm not sure if this has been fixed in the latest development version, I suppose I'll see tomorrow.

Font Anti-Aliasing With The Title Effect

Maybe it's just me, but the title effect seems to have rather pixelated text and drop shadow, even with normally smooth font families such as Noto. I suspect this is because of the way the text is rendered, but I could be wrong. As a side note, I'd also like to mention that drop shadows look significantly better when some blur (or feathering) is applied to them, but we cannot do this in cin as of yet.

Compile on Arch Linux

I compiled CinGG after formatting and installing arch linux, so on a pretty clean environment. The compile failed due to lack of "ctags" and "libwebp". Moreover, as already mentioned, for arch linux package "libtoolize" is called "libtool" and "libaom" is called "aom". Trying to test the Fps with mkv in comparison to others, I got these Boobies. (are multiple consecutive tests) The performance is still good, but I'll talk about this in the bug tracker on mkv.

Automatically Save Snapshots To Current Project Directory

As of right now, the default path for snapshots is /tmp (which means that they first have to be moved manually and then reimported into the project). It would make much more sense to save them to the current project directory by default. I have tried setting it to ./ but this is the directory where cin was run from (my home folder in this case) and not the project directory.

ru.po needs update

Hello, all! I was looking into adding some more translations to ru.po file, and found few things. First, I can't find strings like "Dumps...", "Layout save/load" in translation file (looked with Kbabel translation software.) Second, "Report-Msgid-Bugs-To: cinelerra(a)lists.cinelerra-cv.org\n" <----- still point at Cinelerra-CV list. I'll check for string overflows while attempting to use Cin-GG with upgraded translation. Right now file seems to be broken, because...where is previous translator (igor), his name can't be seen in header after I touched file ..:/ "Last-Translator: Igor Vladimirsky aka igor_ubuntu <sitelve(a)gmail.com>\n" Guess I should pay more attention to some settings ... orig: https://git.cinelerra-gg.org/git/?p=goodguy/cinelerra.git;a=blob;f=cinelerr… attached is ru.po I'm working with. (note, this is qemu-emulated machine) Not sure, building theme_data with another endianness lead to link error ..:/ Also, loading *.flv resulted in fault. dump might be wrong too, because I seriously hacked bcsignals.C ..... But at least it gives _some_ info
