Hi I've made some significant progress in getting the build going - and will have some patches to drop that solve some issues for builds using system libs and non x86 based archs. The current issue I'm stumbling on is that configure doesn't detect the systems liba52 and a52dec/a52.h header files as installed. Blu-ray encoding again

Hi! With Marton's patches from git clone -b mpegts https://github.com/cus/ffmpeg/ and CinGG compiled with ffmpg.git I _nearly_ got some rendering. Hi there. That was a long time I didn't received any notification from the cin-gg wordpress (probably around 2 or 3 months). Then, I logged in to check by myself if there was really no new translation update to do. I found some and did those, so French translation is back to 100% there. Just leaving this email here because something looks wrong with the notification system. Also, I'd encourage other language translators to logged in and check s well if that's a while they didn't receveid a notifcation too. Hope that helps. Big library upgrades checked in -- hoping someone can build as a check

This was a weird month's work for gg. If someone who ordinarily builds themselves has a chance to build, that would be awesome. Then just do some generic stuff. Libraries upgraded are: giflib, libjpeg, twolame, tiff, x264, x265, dav1d, opus, nv-codec-headers, libwebp, openjpeg, and for LV2 – jalv, suil, sratom, lilvsord, and serd Some other stuff that just got checked in: - new option when do a Render with mp4 when you click on Video wrench, there is a new button "format" which provides some more ffmpeg available options (some are available to use and others not depending on whether ffmpeg has a hook up Cin can use). - pulse audio is going to be added to the builds so it should be a choice in Preferences, PlaybackA , but I have not tested that yet on my laptop because it does not show up for me. (We are still testing and will be all day today). - other messages and minor tweaks in like h264/h265_nvenc.mp4 quality changed from medium to high as Andrea suggested. We will try to get a Mint 19.3 static tar built for testing too. Thanks, gg/Phyllis

Dragging label past very beginning of timeline make it disappear

On Compositor freeze: it was freezing in all my versions of CinelerraGG compiled after 2019-11-07. You don't even need to enable click-to-play, just enable zoom mode, click inside canvas so zoom bar appear and zoom set itself to 1.3 and then click on indicator area. Compositor freezed. Then I tried to play with lables. Set cursor (on empty black space outside of any track) somewhere and then clicked icon 'Add label in current position' in main window. It worked. I tried to click-and-hold this label with LMB. It worked, too. Now, not releasing LMB I dragged label right (beyond media end) and left (again, much left, so label become invisible), and then again right (all without releasing LMB). Now, I can't see label o.O It still here in Resources/Labels , but sometimes with strange time. Feedback on ColorSpace new plugin

Hi, Andrea, Since these questions were under the Bodhi Linux email subject, I thought I had better start a new subject. Next is from your email: - Is it possible to put in Info --> Details, also the color space information (or if it is a Log or Raw) associated with the media? This is now in the latest checkin and works for ffmpeg loaded files only under Resources/Info/Details. If it is unknown, it will say unknown. Here is an example: file path: /root/media/Capture0000.mov ...format: mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2 1 video stream vid0 (0), id 0x000063: video1 dnxhd 1920x1080 29.97 pix yuv422p10le *color space:bt709/ range:tv* - Is it possible to put the file path: DCI-P3 colour space as well? ...so we will have a more complete coverage... *Unfortunately,* this was treated differently by ffmpeg - not as a colorspace like the others so it is not available in the same manner. Although I am going to have to have him look at this again using smpte431/432 as alternative names. -A very ambitious request would be to incorporate these algorithms into the Transcode tool as well, in order to also choose the color space in addition to the audio/video codecs. In this way you would have a first hint of Color Management, with all media standardized and well managed. *Logged this as BT #384.*

Sometimes Compositor window hang

Sorry for a lot of noise ... I tried to play more with click-to-pan mode. It worked, but when I *additionally* enabled Click to Play mode - sometimes Compositor window just hang. If I select 'Protect video' mode in compositor - then Click-to-Play mode works as expected. Basically, try to 0) set cursor to evry beginning of timeline (home) 1) load movie into CinGG 2) in Compositor window DISABLE both Zoom mode and Click-to-play 3) Then Enable Zoom mode (marked F2) 4) Then enable click-to-play 5) Click somewhere near low part of video in compositor, around horizontal zoom scrollbar 6) It should hang Not sure if dump AFTER I made forced (Ctrl-C) quit actually useful? Strange behavior with old Cinelerra_rc

So, I killed my Cinelerra_rc by renaming it into Cinelerra_rc_old Now, I can see fade again, and it works on all tracks as fade (if I move slider at very left) Still, may be upgrading from not very new file messed it up? Try to load any video+audio file, and while audio fade should work as usual (nice slopes between keyframes), on video track you can only toggle fade to '1' or '0', very steep --- Aw, I mixed up "MUTE' control (toggleable between 1 and 0, obviously) and FADE control... sorry, this part work! --- Also, clicking on video track for some reason autoselect both video and audio tracks now?? (they all become inverted visually) If I click on empty space *below* tracks in main window - I can select region as usual. -- this part still behaves strangely, for me -------------------------------------------------------
